Ph.D. Dissertation Guidelines
If you are a GSAS doctoral candidate with questions about the dissertation submission process, please call Helene Greenberg, 781-736-3413 in the GSAS Office.
Guidelines for preparing your dissertation as well as a variety of forms and a time line of deadlines are available electronically (see links below) or from the Graduate School office on the second floor of Kutz Hall.
- The GSAS Guidelines for Dissertation Submission and Publication 2008-2009 contains formatting guidelines and information on submitting your Ph.D. dissertation for publication.
- The UMI booklet 'Publishing Your Doctoral Dissertation' is available online and contains the (required) author's Publishing Agreement Form as well as important information about copyright, publication rights and responsibilities, and access restrictions (optional). This booklet is also available in the GSAS Office.
