The Chamber Choir presents a program of the music of Claudio Monteverdi, in honor of Professor Eric Chafe and his ground-breaking work on the music of Monteverdi. Claudio Monteverdi (1567 - 1643) was one of the first and greatest opera composers as well as one of the greatest composers of madrigals and church music. The Chamber Choir will perform a wide variety of Monteverdi's music.
